Wilder Home Watch – Terms of Service

1.1 Who we are

1.2 Our services
WHW conducts periodic, checklist‑based home‑watch visits (exterior & interior), delivers photo‑rich reports, and coordinates remedial vendors only with the client’s written approval. Our services adhere to the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) Standards of Practice.
1.3 Eligibility
You must be 18 + and the legal owner, tenant, or authorized agent of the property.
1.4 Account creation & deletion
You can self-register, or we can send you a secure invitation. You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account or email info@wilderhomewatch.com. We erase personal data within 30 days and system backups within 90 days.
1.5 Scheduling & cancellation
Visits are booked in the client portal or by phone. You may reschedule up to 24 hours prior without charge. You can cancel the entire plan at any time; we will refund any unused visits within 10 business days.
1.6 Fees & payment
Credit‑card or ACH. Invoices auto‑pay on the first business day of the month; late fees apply after 15 days. Price changes take effect only after 30 days’ written notice.
1.7 Scope & client responsibilites
– Provide two working keys (or codes) plus any gate/pool remotes.
– Maintain homeowner’s insurance; WHW is additional insured for on‑premises liability only.
– Notify us of alarm codes, water shut‑off location, and known hazards.
– WHW does not stay overnight, accept mail, or guarantee prevention of theft, vandalism, or Acts of God.
1.8 Limitations of liability
We are liable only for direct, proven losses caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, capped as stated above. We are not liable for consequential damages (e.g., lost rental income).
1.9 Insurance
Material changes are announced 30 days in advance via email and our changelog.
1.10 Dispute Resolution
Either party may seek informal resolution within 30 days of notice. If unresolved, file in small‑claims court (≤ $10 000) or state/federal courts in Lake County, IL, unless the client opts for agreed‑upon mediation first (fees split). No forced arbitration clause.
1.11 Changes to terms
We’ll email registered users and post a changelog 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use implies acceptance.
1.12 Severability & entire agreement
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WHW regarding the Service.
